page three

1928- From The National Lamp Works Division of General Electric, this brochure page shows the three types of lamps commonly used in Christmas decorating at the time, both indoor and outdoor. It is interesting to note that the picture shows a smooth cone type of C-6 lamp, although they were no longer available. The smooth cone envelopes were dropped by about 1925 or so, in favor of the flame or textured variety.
